Nickel Reaction Treatment Pueblo, Colorado
Do I have a nickel Sensitivity?
Symptoms of a nickel sensitivity arise from contact, usually repeated contact with items containing the metal nickel or various nickel compounds.
Nickel Allergy- common symptoms
The most common symptom is chronic itching (purities). The itching is often combined with a red rash, raised bumps and broken skin. Itchy red rash around your belt buckle or blue jeans button that often contains nickel, or an itchy rash around your watch or on the ears in the case of nickel earrings. Itchy rash on ring finger or over areas where nickel-containing jewelry might be worn is often associated with this nickel sensitivity or allergy. Most medical dermatologist can do patch tests to determine if you have nickel sensitivity but most medical doctors do not have a treatment for this condition
other than instructing you to avoid contact with nickel containing jewelry, belt buckles, buttons etc. Advance Allergy Therapeutics can use muscle response testing a non-invasive painless test to determine if nickel compounds are a healthy stressor to you. If your testing shows you are nickel sensitive the Advanced Allergy Therapeutic treatment may eliminate you stressor symptoms and contact with nickel will no longer cause the rash, itching or other symptoms and you can wear nickel jewelry etc. if you so desire.
Case History
An uncle (care taker) presents with a four and a half year old boy that has a grapefruit sized raised bumpy itchy rash around his navel. The uncle relates that the boy has been seen by both a medical dermatologist and a medical allergist and was told by both medical specialists that the rash was caused by nickel sensitivity to the button on his blue jeans. They were advised that there was no treatment for this other than avoiding the contact with nickel and that the boy would eventually “outgrow” this condition.Advanced Allergy Muscle response testing confirmed that Nickel was a health stressor. He was treated with the ATT method and within one week the rash began to rapidly disappear. The boy is now able to have contact with nickel without any reaction.
